Good to know:

The villa operates like a hotel and has daily cleaning service and fresh towels.

We will be sharing rooms with 2 or sometimes 3 guests to a room.

All the rooms have their own bathroom with a shower.

The staff will take care of personal laundry for a small fee.

Meals:

We will have the kitchen stocked with breakfast items as well as some snacks for nibbles or a lighter lunch.
There will for example be yoghurt, granolas, toast, coffee, fruit and berries, nuts, cheese and crackers. There will be drinks and wine.
On the nights we are dining at the villa, a bartender will be available from 3 p.m.-11 p.m.

The Martini Beach Bar & Grill is located a few steps down the beach and is open from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. They have an extensive menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a great bar.

This is a great option on the days where we do not have a planned activity that includes lunch, or for those who opt out of an activity.

A 20 minute walk down the beach will take you to Cabarete down town where there are shops, coffee bars, restaurants, a grocery store etc. Visit www. cabarete.com for more details.

Electrical outlets are American standard.

The WiFi network is: Barefootwifi

Password: isabella

The property is sprayed for mosquitos and due to the ocean breeze the resort has very few mosquitos. Mosquito spray will be available for use.

In case of an emergency, the closest hospital is in Sosua about 15 minutes away by car.

911 is the number to call for emergency assistance.

There is a First Aid kit available on the property.

Property manager Nina Jost will be available to handle emergencies and general question.

The property has a security guard during night hours.

American dollars are used almost everywhere on the island, but the stores will give you a bad exchange rate.
The best place to exchange USD to RD$ (Dominican Pesos) is in the town of Cabarete. The two places recommended are Caribe Express and Wallys. There are also places at the airport.

Most places of business accept credit cards.

For guests who arrive and depart from Puerto Plata airport (POP), transportation to and from the villa is complementary. More about how sign up for transportation later.
